Remove BestPricesApp Ads And Coupons

Hello there. Did you just find something named BestPricesApp on your computer? BestPricesApp appears to be a variant of UniSales that I wrote about some time ago. If you have BestPricesApp on your machine, you will spot new add-ons installed into Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer. I’ll show how to remove BestPricesApp in this blog post with the FreeFixer removal tool.

BestPricesApp is bundled with other software. Bundled means that it is included in another software’s installer. Here’s how it was disclosed when I found it:

The actual installer file was digitally signed by Stepan Rybin.

As usual when I mess around with some new bundled software I uploaded it to VirusTotal to see if the anti-malware tools there find something interesting. 14 of the anti-virus scanners detected the file. The BestPricesApp files are detected as TR/Crypt.XPACK.Gen7 by Avira, Gen:Variant.Adware.Zusy.121779 by BitDefender, Application.Win32.AdWare.MultiPlug.VB by Comodo, Adware/Agent.aksh by Jiangmin, PUP.Optional.Multiplug.A by Malwarebytes, Win32/Trojan.cb1 by Qihoo-360 and TROJ_GEN.R0C1H09C615 by TrendMicro-HouseCall.
