Re: Lenovo.Modern.ImController.PluginHost.exe

My relatively new Lenovo G50 was bogging down badly, hard drive cranking without pause and then freezing. After several reboots over as many days, I opened Task Manager (Processes) and noticed what seemed to be more than 100 instances of this file sucking up over 90% memory and constantly paging back to the hard drive.

On another much older system, I was able to Google the file name and came across your webpage, among others, and saw that the general consensus of opinion was that the program "Lenovo System Interface Foundation" could be removed to prevent this from happening. So, I went ahead and removed it (slow process, since the program itself was still hogging resources) and rebooted.

Everything seems fine now and my system is back to running (somewhat) normally.

Thank you for your website; will definitely try out your software and, if it works for me, will donate.

For the past couple of weeks I've noticed a small command prompt window opening and then immediately closing. This happened multiple times each day. Based on when the issue started occurring, I was able to track it back to the installation date of Lenovo System Interface Foundation. I uninstalled the program, and Lenovo.Modern.ImController.PluginHost as well. That seems to have resolved the issue.

@Maria: Try killing the Lenovo.Modern.ImController.PluginHost.exe process from the Windows Task Manager, and then start Zoom. Did that work?
