A screenshot of FreeFixer's scan result.Hi, my name is Roger Karlsson. I've been running this website since 2006. I want to let you know about the FreeFixer program. FreeFixer is a freeware tool that analyzes your system and let you manually identify unwanted programs. Once you've identified some malware files, FreeFixer is pretty good at removing them. You can download FreeFixer here. It runs on Windows 2000/XP/2003/20008/Vista/7 RC1. (32-bit only).

If you have questions, feedback on FreeFixer or the freefixer.com website, need help analyzing FreeFixer's scan result or just want to say hello, please contact me. You can find my email address at the contact page.

ffnd.exe is FreeFixer's Native Deleter tool. When FreeFixer is unable to delete files in normal Windows mode they are registered for delayed removal with FreeFixer's Native Deleter, which removes the files upon the next reboot. The actual delete operation is done before the logon screen appear.

Free Fixer should not list it's own files in the report's it produces. It listed ffnd.exe and I deleted it.

@Biren: Thanks for suggestion. I'll have ffnd.exe listed in green in future versions of FreeFixer. I think I can have this feature included in FreeFixer v0.52.
