I ran Regrun Security Suite and it discovered a file C:\windows\system32\drivers\APSZKWZ0.SYS. I searched for this file on the web and came up empty. NO results.
Regrun Described it as Storage Filter Driver, internal name VADD.SYS, version number 1.1.2.5 (NT.091202-1711).
I searched for VADD.SYS and came to your page.
I have NO idea what to do with the file.
At this time i have NO access to windows updates as the ENTIRE update service is MISSING as is the Windows Firewall service. Ive tried replacing the services/dlls and everything else i can to fix it but NOTHING worked.
All the forums and sites that list this problem and the solutions, have not helped. Apparently others with the same problem have found success.
I have no idea if this file is a problem or not or if it caused my security breach.
At this stage im contemplating a format and reinstall of the OS. Win 7 Pro SP1.
Just thought i would let you know.

APSZKWZ0.SYS had nothing to do with the security breach.
I used Combofix to rid my system of zero access virus. Firewall and Windows Updates are now working fine.
But i still dont know if APSZKWZ0.SYS is good or bad....
