It appears to be taking over ntoskrnl and constantly running my CPU at 50% loading - no other changes found at this stage. I will remove it and look for all instances - also 2 AV programs did not ID.

It came preinstalled on my acer laptop. Mine is version 1.0.6.0 Language: chinese (traditional, Taiwan). Since acer is in taiwan I assume they installed it. But I still don't know what it does...setting default settings???
I leave it running for now until I found out more, it doesn't use much memory on my system (1,6MB)..

This file is part of Acer's (eMachine) and Gateway notebooks, needed for webcam function.
Known file sizes on Windows XP are 200,704 bytes (99% of all occurrence), 258,048 bytes. Should be deleted if you uninstall Acer Crystal Eye.

plfseti.exe was detected on my laptop by AVG anti-virus as a dangerous virus, so the file is deleted from my laptop.
