I get an error message that DVDAccss is missing. I checked the driver folder and indeed it is not there. What does this file do? Is it necessary? My computer seems to run fine without it. I'm running Windows XP.

Have a theory, based on timing of 'file loss err message' versus arival of ASK.com 'malware' hijacking of which site I choose. (Theirs now pops up, un-wanted.)
I think dvdaccss is a legit file used by apple quicktime , but ASK.com destroys it 'cause it gets in the way of their obnoxious, criminal hijack routine.
