This software is for remote monitoring and control of computer networks. If it wasn't part of your bundled sofeware then someone put it there.... it is designed by New Boundary Technologies, Inc. only very large companies such as the fed. goverment us it.

PRISMXL.SYS
PRISMXL.SYS is a part of PrismXL software.

My research indicates its software installer for corporate environments. It allows installation to many PCs on a network. Notably, it seems it was used by Gateway and Emachines and should have been removed before boxing up. I found this site
