Hi,
On my system (XP pro), I've installed a Samsung printer and the executable BACKUPSVR.EXE (192.512 bytes) now starts with the system.

I experienced a continue use of resources by this program.
I mean that, this program get about 1Kbytes of NON PAGED POOL memory EVERY SECOND, and never release it.

At the moment, it uses 58 Mbytes of NPP memory... other programs use an average of 100/200 KB each.

This mean that, cause there is a limit of 256 MB for the Non Paged Pool memory on XPpro, in about 3 days, my system runs over and the system begin to show strange and unwanted errors like "10055 No buffer space available" and so on.

The only correction is to reboot the system. (every 3 days!!!)

Now that I found the bad program, I'll try to delete it and see if my system returns to work for days and days..

Please, let me know if you experienced the same problem.

thank you. Luca
