Putting the executable in notepad and looking at the data segment (the end of the file) seem to refer to printer functions. Plus your screencap informs us that the legal copyright holder is Brother. Thus it pretty much link the file to a printer driver/ subsystem.

Two folders were installed when I installed Brother printer driver/software - Brother MFC-7860DW-inst-C1-EU

I downloaded the driver installation file directly from the site which I think was clean and authentic.

The two folders created within a minute of each other when I started installation of the printer driver were - Brother and Browny02 - I have to admit that I was also concerned because in previous Windows versions of the Brother software, only one folder was created.

I am currently running Windows 10 with all patches and the Brother 7860DW is connected wifi on a home network.

I believe that all files in the two folders are required and are clean.
