I have a Lexar 2G USB drive, I've had it for 7-8 years and used it a couple days ago. Today I happened to notice LxrAutorun.exe this running, never noticed it before. I haven't plugged the USB drive in since turning on the computer and I don't have any other Lexar products (that I know of). The file was hidden but in the typical place and there was one other file hidden with it, LxrUnplug.exe. I scanned them but Windows doesn't seem to think they're a problem.
I'm going to remove them. I'll copy them to a .zip folder so I can replace them if need be. The USB drive works with my DVD player without these files so I don't know why the computer should need them. If anything transpires I'll update.
