I voted to keep the "problem" because it seems (according to the number of results from Google with 2 different search strings) related to AVG, and if an .exe called "MachineIdCreator" "fails", maybe that's not such a bad thing. Or the proggy simply prints ".exe failed" is a lie.

Every time I reboot, I get this message "MachineIDCreator.exe - Application Error". How can I fix it or get rid of it?

@Dave: If you are using AVG Secure Search, please check if there's an update available from AVG that solved the problem. If you are not using AVG Secure Search, uninstalling it should remove the error message at startup.
