this program is apparently part of a recent (between late 09 and early 2010) update to a free online game client or clients from a distributor by the name of "Nexon"
this program is required for games Nexon produces as it fills a roll between logging on and connecting to game servers. most likely is some kind of browser interface as most of the games have recently switched their launching interface to their respective game sub domain on the Nexon domain.
if this application is removed it will render any Nexon clients unusable due to missing data witch will require a lengthy download and install process.

c:\users\*\appdata\local\pmb files\upgrade41270\pmb_update.exe was found and removed by my antivirus(avast). No visible change to any of my gaming. Looks like the malware folks have embedded bad stuff into this file too now.
