Umbrella.exe removal instructions

  2. Start FreeFixer and press the Start Scan button. The scan will finish in approximately five minutes.

  3. When the scan is finished, locate Umbrella.exe in the scan result and tick the checkbox next to the Umbrella.exe file. Do not check any other file for removal unless you are 100% sure you want to delete it. Tip: Press CTRL-F to open up FreeFixer's search dialog to quickly locate Umbrella.exe in the scan result.

  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the scan result and press the Fix button. FreeFixer will now delete the Umbrella.exe file.

  7. If Umbrella.exe still remains in the scan result, check its checkbox again in the scan result and click Fix.
  8. Restart your computer.
  9. Start FreeFixer and scan your computer again. Verify that Umbrella.exe no longer appear in the scan result.

this file is malware and is a hijacker. anything that changes your home page and search engine and other settings is IMHO malware!

umbrella.exe and the annoying imminent software is most annoying. A pop up window keeps appearing asking me to download something or upgrade. When I went to task manager and ended the umbrella.exe file, the pop up disappeared. I am not very techie so I am uncertain how to completely purge myself of this annoyance.

@Kirk: I think the Iminent software should be uninstallable from the Windows Control Panel.
