CMTray.exe is part of the download from Magellan so owners can update their maps whenever. I don't like it popping up on its own and thought it was only supposed to operate when users choose to.
Must open the [program to see if I have an auto-update choice selected.

Update: I just opened content manager and in Edit I selected "Preferences" and chose "Never" among the choices. Other choices were "every 24 hrs" etc, which was what mine had been set on. Then save it and you are good to go.

More info: This really gets it to stop pop[ping up (A box that asks you of you want CMTray.exe to make changes to you computer)
Here's what to do: Go to start and right-click....type in "msconfig"....select "start". Scroll to where you see CMTray.exe and uncheck the box. That's it. Worked for me.
