snxhk.dll as well as all several other files in the new Avast folder are being flagged by Windows Defender as malware. In fact, they are part of the avast! antivirus software.

my avast says it's missing snxhk.dll and won't let me access any kind of webpage because of it.

@Billy: Reinstalling the Avast software might fix the snxhk.dll problem. Please let us if that solved the problem.
