If you have questions, feedback on FreeFixer or the freefixer.com website, need help analyzing FreeFixer's scan result or just want to say hello, please contact me. You can find my email address at the contact page.
Please share with the other users what you think about this file. What does this file do? Is it legitimate or something that your computer is better without? Do you know how it was installed on your system? Did you install it yourself or did it come bundled with some other software? Is it running smoothly or do you get some error message? Any information that will help to document this file is welcome. Thank you for your contributions.
I'm reading all new comments so don't hesitate to post a question about the file. If I don't have the answer perhaps another user can help you.
stij.exe CAN be one of legit softwares, BUT. if you have no softwares installed by perion network, that means you have a little pesky malware in your computer. the only thing that would help you out is 'Malwarebytes anti-malware'
you can download a free trial version.

stij.exe is the process run by the IBupdater service - it seems to get installed with Incredibar. Just use the windows7 Programmes and Features control panel to remove the two programmes named "IBupdater" and "IBupdaterservice" (sorry but I forgot to make a precise note of the names but they definately begin with uppercase "IB") - the latter uses an "are you a real person" challenge, and the unistall screen requires the user to enter an onscreen code and to manually click the "Close" button at the end of the uninstall, but once done... no more stij.exe.

STIJ.EXE...is a SWEETPACK UPDATING SERVICE...Go to your INSTALLED PROGRAMS...look for Sweetpack updating, and uninstall it...it disappeared for me...I think it goes with some programs that have an automatic update...that means it is not necessarily malware...
there is a sweetpack toolbar too, I think...anyway, uninstalling it, got rid of it...no problem...
