This is a legitimate part of Zone-alarm's firewall/Antivirus suit. The Privacy protection is an add-on. If you are not using any Zone-Alarm products then remove it and run a scan with Search&Destroy, Malwarebytes, Hitman or similar.

It is not needed for the firewall to function and can be safely disabled without harming the functionality or security of the Firewall and antivirus programs.
