Hello there!\u00a0As usual I was looking around on the Internet to see what is being bundled with some software downloads. This time I found something called YouTubeAdBlocke<\/strong>, which is installed as an add-on in Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.<\/p>\n

YouTubeAdBlocke<\/strong> was installed with a bunch of other unwanted softwares called PC_Booster<\/a>, PC_Sustainer 1.80<\/a> and PriceChop<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Just to set the record straight.\u00a0YouTubeAdBlocke\u00a0<\/strong>is not official software from Google.<\/p>\n

As per usual I uploaded the suspicious YoutubeAdBlocke<\/strong> file to VirusTotal<\/a> to see if any scanner detects it. The detection rate is quite\u00a0low.<\/p>\n

PUP.Optional.MultiPlug<\/strong>, Adware.Win32.MultiPlug<\/strong> and Win32\/Adware.MultiPlug<\/strong> are some of the detection names for the\u00a0YoutubeAdBlocke<\/strong> file.<\/p>\n

You can remove YouTubeAdBlocke<\/strong> from the Windows Control Panel. Please remember to remove the other unwanted softwares too.<\/p>\n

If that does not work, you can remove YouTubeAdBlocke<\/strong> with the freeware FreeFixer<\/a> malware removal tool. Just select the the\u00a0YouTubeAdBlocke<\/strong> files for removal:<\/p>\n
