Are you seeing ads labelled\u00a0Ads By GoSaveNow<\/strong>,\u00a0Ad By GoSaveNow<\/strong> or Brought by GosaveNow<\/strong>? Do you also see links inserted into the web page\u00a0that have a small green icon and says “Click to Continue > by Gosavenow<\/strong>“? If so, you have the GosaveNow<\/strong> adware installed on your machine. I’ll show how to remove Gosavenow in this blog post with the FreeFixer<\/a> removal tool.<\/p>\n

I’ve also found a variant of this adware called GoSave<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Here are a few examples on how the\u00a0Gosavenow ads<\/strong> looks like:<\/p>\n

The Gosavenow ads also appears on search engines such as Google:<\/p>\n

\"Ad<\/a> \"ads<\/a><\/p>\n

The following Gosavenow ad was inserted\u00a0on Wikipedia.org:<\/p>\n

\"brought<\/a> \"Click<\/a><\/p>\n

Gosavenow installs itself in Internet Explorer<\/strong>, Mozilla Firefox<\/strong> and Google Chrome<\/strong>. You can spot it if you open up the add-ons manager in the web browsers.<\/p>\n

\"Gosavenow<\/a>\"Gosavenow<\/a><\/p>\n

Some of the antivirus programs are detecting the GosaveNow adware, but the detection rate is rather low. Only 4 of the 55 anti-virus scanners at VirusTotal<\/a> detected it. That’s a 7% detection rate<\/strong>. MultiPlug<\/strong> seems to be the common detection name:<\/p>\n

So, the GosaveNow removal. You can easily remove GosaveNow<\/strong> with FreeFixer<\/a>. Just select the Gosavenow files for removal and click the Fix button. You may have to reboot your machine to complete the removal:<\/p>\n
