Hello there. Just a quick post on the Solution Real<\/strong> adware<\/strong>. It’s a\u00a0variant of BrowseFox<\/strong> that I’ve written about many times before. If the Solution Real adware is running on your computer, you will see new add-ons called “Solution Real” added into Firefox and Internet Explorer. I’ll show how to remove Solution Real in this blog post with the FreeFixer removal tool.<\/p>\n

Solution Real is bundled<\/strong> with other software. Bundled means that it is included in another software’s installer. Here’s how it appeared in the installer:<\/p>\n

When I play around with some new bundled software I usually upload it to VirusTotal<\/a> to see if the anti-virus software there find anything interesting. 48% of the anti-virus scanners detected the file. The Solution Real files are detected as Adware.BrowseFox.AQ<\/strong> by F-Secure, PUP.Optional.SolutionReal.A<\/strong> by Malwarebytes, Artemis!E2850BC2E23D<\/strong> by McAfee, Trojan.Win32.BPlug.dedpsr<\/strong> by NANO-Antivirus and AdWare.Kranet<\/strong> by VBA32.<\/p>\n

If you would like to remove Solution Real you can do so with the FreeFixer<\/a> removal tool. Just select the Solution Real files as shown in the screen captures below. A reboot of your machine may be required to complete the removal.<\/p>\n
