Hello there and welcome to the FreeFixer blog. Today I wanted to talk about a called MixVideoPlayer<\/strong> and give you some removal instructions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

If MixVideoPlayer is running on your computer, you will notice MixVideoPlayer.exe<\/a> running in the Windows Task Manager and a new service installed called mixvideoplayerupdaterservice.exe<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I’ll show how to remove MixVideoPlayer in this blog post with the FreeFixer removal tool.<\/p>\n

As always when I run into some new software I uploaded it to VirusTotal<\/a> to verify if the antimalware scanners there detect something suspicious. 3 of the anti-malware scanners detected the file. The MixVideoPlayer files are detected as Hacktool.MSIL.Confuser.J<\/strong> by Baidu-International, a variant of MSIL\/Packed.Confuser.J suspicious<\/strong> by ESET-NOD32 and PUP.Optional.MixVideoPlayer.A<\/strong> by Malwarebytes.<\/p>\n

You can remove MixVideoPlayer with the FreeFixer<\/a> removal tool. Here’s a few screenshots that should help you along the way: You may have to restart your computer to complete the removal.<\/p>\n
