Hope you are doing ok. Did something called <strong>NetMon<\/strong> appear on your machine? If NetMon is installed on your computer, you&#8217;ll find <a href=\"http:\/\/www.freefixer.com\/library\/file\/netmon.exe-170977\/\">netmon.exe<\/a> running in the Windows Task Manager and a new startup added in the Windows registry, pointing to netmon.exe.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.freefixer.com\/b\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/netmon.exe-task-manager.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5187 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.freefixer.com\/b\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/netmon.exe-task-manager.png\" alt=\"netmon.exe in the task manager\" width=\"621\" height=\"236\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.freefixer.com\/b\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/netmon.exe-task-manager.png 621w, https:\/\/www.freefixer.com\/b\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/netmon.exe-task-manager-300x114.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 621px) 100vw, 621px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll show how to remove NetMon in this blog post with the FreeFixer removal tool.<\/p>\n<p>The netmon.exe file is located in C:\\%USER%\\honeypotter\\AppData\\Roaming\\NetMon. Currently, no anti-virus program is detecting the netmon.exe file, according to <a title=\"How To Scan a File for Viruses with VirusTotal\" href=\"http:\/\/www.freefixer.com\/b\/scan-files-for-viruses-virustotal\/\">VirusTotal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>NetMon is <strong>bundled<\/strong> with other software. Bundled means that it is included in another software&#8217;s installer. In this case, I could not see any notice that NetMon was included in the installer.<\/p>\n<p>Since you probably want to <strong>remove NetMon<\/strong>, these are the files you should check for removal if you want to remove it with <a title=\"About FreeFixer\" href=\"http:\/\/www.freefixer.com\/b\/about-freefixer\/\">FreeFixer<\/a>.
