There&#8217;s no use contacting the owners of the web site you were browsing. The pstatic.bestpriceninja.com status bar notifications are not coming from them. I&#8217;ll try help you to <strong>remove the pstatic.bestpriceninja.com<\/strong> statusbar messages in this blog post.<\/p>\n<p>I found pstatic.bestpriceninja.com on one of the lab systems where I have some potentially unwanted programs running. I&#8217;ve talked about this in some of the previous blog posts. The potentially unwanted programs was installed on purpose, and from time to time I check if something new has appeared, such as pop-up windows, new tabs in the browsers, injected ads on site that usually don&#8217;t show ads, or if some new files have been saved to the hard-drive.<\/p>\n<p>pstatic.bestpriceninja.com was created on 2015-04-27. bestpriceninja.com resolves to the 104.20.31.52 IP address and so does pstatic.bestpriceninja.com.<\/p>\n<p>So, how do you <strong>remove pstatic.bestpriceninja.com<\/strong> from your browser? On the machine where pstatic.bestpriceninja.com showed up in the status bar I had <a title=\"istartsurf.com - How Did It Install On Your Machine\" href=\"http:\/\/www.freefixer.com\/b\/how-istartsurf-com-installed\/\">istartsurf<\/a>, <a title=\"Remove videosMediaPlayersversion2.1 and videosMediaPlayersv2.2 Ads\" href=\"http:\/\/www.freefixer.com\/b\/remove-videosmediaplayersversion2-1-videosmediaplayerv2-2-ads\/\">MedPlayerNewVersion<\/a> and <a title=\"Remove Movie Wizard Adware From Small Island Development\" href=\"http:\/\/www.freefixer.com\/b\/remove-movie-wizard-adware-from-small-island-development\/\">Movie Wizard<\/a> installed. I removed them with <a title=\"More info on FreeFixer and download link here\" href=\"http:\/\/www.freefixer.com\/b\/about-freefixer\/\">FreeFixer<\/a> and that stopped the browser from loading data from pstatic.bestpriceninja.com.<\/p>\n<p>The problem with status bar messages like this one is that it can be caused by many variants of potentially unwanted programs. This makes it impossible to say exactly what you need to remove to stop the status bar messages.<\/p>\n<p>To remove pstatic.bestpriceninja.com you need to review your machine for potentially unwanted programs and uninstall them. Here&#8217;s my suggested removal procedure:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Examine what programs you have installed in the Add\/Remove programs dialog in the Windows Control Panel. Do you see anything that you don&#8217;t remember installing or that was recently installed?<\/li>\n<li>How about your add-ons you have in your browsers. Anything in the list that you don&#8217;t remember installing?<\/li>\n<li>If that didn&#8217;t help, I&#8217;d recommend a scan with <a title=\"About FreeFixer\" href=\"http:\/\/www.freefixer.com\/b\/about-freefixer\/\">FreeFixer<\/a> to manually track down the potentially unwanted program.
