Have to do it to stop the copy-cats.)<\/p>\n<p>If this sounds like what you are seeing on your machine, you presumably have some adware installed on your machine that pops up the safedownloadsrus147.com ads. So there&#8217;s no idea contacting the owner of the web site you currently were browsing. The ads are not coming from them. I&#8217;ll try help you with the <strong>safedownloadsrus147.com removal<\/strong> in this blog post.<\/p>\n<p>Those that have been following this blog already know this, but for new visitors: Not long ago I dedicated some of my lab machines and deliberately installed a few adware programs on them. I first spotted the safedownloadsrus147.com pop-up on one of these lab machines.<\/p>\n<p>safedownloadsrus147.com was registered on 2015-08-20. safedownloadsrus147.com resolves to 162.159.248.237.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update Nov 27 2015:<\/strong> I just ran into a pop up from\u00a0<strong>safedownloadsrus169.com<\/strong>. The following similar domains are also registered:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>safedownloadsrus160.com<\/li>\n<li>safedownloadsrus161.com<\/li>\n<li>safedownloadsrus162.com<\/li>\n<li>safedownloadsrus163.com<\/li>\n<li>safedownloadsrus164.com<\/li>\n<li>safedownloadsrus165.com<\/li>\n<li>safedownloadsrus166.com<\/li>\n<li>safedownloadsrus167.com<\/li>\n<li>safedownloadsrus168.com<\/li>\n<li>safedownloadsrus170.com<\/li>\n<li>safedownloadsrus171.com<\/li>\n<li>safedownloadsrus172.com<\/li>\n<li>safedownloadsrus173.com<\/li>\n<li>safedownloadsrus174.com<\/li>\n<li>safedownloadsrus175.com<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And I will not be surprised if these domains starts to appear in pop-ups too:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>safedownloadsrus176.com<\/li>\n<li>safedownloadsrus177.com<\/li>\n<li>safedownloadsrus178.com<\/li>\n<li>safedownloadsrus179.com<\/li>\n<li>safedownloadsrus180.com<\/li>\n<li>safedownloadsrus181.com<\/li>\n<li>safedownloadsrus182.com<\/li>\n<li>safedownloadsrus183.com<\/li>\n<li>safedownloadsrus184.com<\/li>\n<li>safedownloadsrus185.com<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So, how do you <strong>remove the safedownloadsrus147.com pop-up ads<\/strong>? On the machine where I got the safedownloadsrus147.com ads I had <a title=\"Remove Windows Menager.exe\" href=\"http:\/\/www.freefixer.com\/library\/file\/Windows%20menager.exe-196920\/\">Windows Menager<\/a>, <a title=\"Remove SmartComp Safe Network\" href=\"http:\/\/www.freefixer.com\/b\/remove-jelbrus-secure-web-adware\/\">SmartComp Safe Network<\/a>, gosearch.me and <a title=\"How To Remove mlwps.exe\" href=\"http:\/\/www.freefixer.com\/library\/file\/mlwps.exe-174582\/\">Live Malware Protection<\/a> installed. I removed them with <a title=\"More info on FreeFixer and download link here\" href=\"http:\/\/www.freefixer.com\/b\/about-freefixer\/\">FreeFixer<\/a> and that stopped the safedownloadsrus147.com pop-ups and all the other ads I was getting in Mozilla Firefox.<\/p>\n<p>It seems as safedownloadsrus147.com is getting quite a lot of traffic, based on Alexa&#8217;s traffic rank:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.freefixer.com\/b\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/safedownloadsrus147.com-traffic.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7274\" src=\"http:\/\/www.freefixer.com\/b\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/safedownloadsrus147.com-traffic.png\" alt=\"safedownloadsrus147.com traffic\" width=\"532\" height=\"304\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.freefixer.com\/b\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/safedownloadsrus147.com-traffic.png 532w, https:\/\/www.freefixer.com\/b\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/safedownloadsrus147.com-traffic-300x171.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 532px) 100vw, 532px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The issue with this type of pop-up is that it can be popped up by many variants of adware, not just the adware on my computer. This makes it impossible to say exactly what you need to remove to stop the pop-ups.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, here&#8217;s my suggestion for the safedownloadsrus147.com ads removal:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Review what programs you have installed in the Add\/Remove programs dialog in the Windows Control Panel. Do you see anything that you don&#8217;t remember installing or that was recently installed?<\/li>\n<li>How about your add-ons that you have in your browser. Anything in the list that you don&#8217;t remember installing?<\/li>\n<li>If that didn&#8217;t help, I&#8217;d recommend a scan with <a title=\"About the FreeFixer removal tool\" href=\"http:\/\/www.freefixer.com\/b\/about-freefixer\/\">FreeFixer<\/a> to manually track down the adware.
