I just found something called <strong>V-Bates<\/strong>, bundled with a free download. Here&#8217;s how <strong>V-Bates<\/strong> was disclosed in the installer:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.freefixer.com\/b\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/v-bates-install-404.png\"><img https:\/\/www.freefixer.com\/b\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/v-bates-install-404-300x70.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 682px) 100vw, 682px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Terms and Condition link opened up a <strong>404 Page Not Found<\/strong>, which can make it difficult for users to take an informed decision whether to install <strong>V-Bates<\/strong> or not.<\/p>\n<p>Only a few of the anti-virus programs detects the \u00a0<strong>V-Bates<\/strong> files:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.freefixer.com\/b\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/v-bates-wajamu-wajam.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-950 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.freefixer.com\/b\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/v-bates-wajamu-wajam.png\" alt=\"v-bates is called wajamu and wajam\" width=\"655\" height=\"222\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.freefixer.com\/b\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/v-bates-wajamu-wajam.png 655w, https:\/\/www.freefixer.com\/b\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/v-bates-wajamu-wajam-300x101.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 655px) 100vw, 655px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Baidu and VIPRE refers to it as <strong>Wajam<\/strong> and <strong>Wajamu<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;d like to remove <strong>V-Bates<\/strong> you can simply do so by uninstalling it from the Add\/Remove programs dialog.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.freefixer.com\/b\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/v-bates-uninstall.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-944 size-full\" sizes=\"(max-width: 644px) 100vw, 644px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If that fails for some reason you can also remove <strong>V-Bates<\/strong>\u00a0with <a title=\"About FreeFixer\" href=\"http:\/\/www.freefixer.com\/b\/about-freefixer\/\">FreeFixer<\/a> by checking notifier.exe, guardsvc.exe, extensionupdaterservice.exe, PrefHelper.exe, extension32.dll and
