Celeris Inc Publisher Overview

Did you just download a file that is digitally signed by Celeris Inc and wonder if the file is safe? If so, please read on.

You will probably notice Celeris Inc when double-clicking to run the file. The publisher name is displayed as the "Verified publisher" in the UAC dialog as the screenshot shows:

You can view the digital signature details for Celeris Inc with the following steps:

  1. Open Windows Explorer and locate the Celeris Inc file
  2. Right-click the file and select Properties
  3. Click the Digital Signatures tab
  4. Click on the View Certificate button

As you can see in the screenshot above, Windows states that "This digital signature is OK". This means that the file has been published by Celeris Inc and that no one has tampered with the file.

If you click the View Certificate button shown in the screengrab above, you can examine all the details of the certificate, such as when it was issued, who issued the certificate, how long it is valid, and so on. You can also see the address for Celeris Inc, such as the street name, city and country.

COMODO RSA Code Signing CA has issued the Celeris Inc certificates. You can also see the details of the issuer by clicking the View Certificate button shown in the screencap above.
