Fast Downloads - 5% Detection Rate *

Did you just find a download or a file on your computer that has a digital signature from Fast Downloads? Some of the security products refers to the detected files as Trojan.Packed.24524 and a variant of Win32/InstallCore.IL. The detection rate for the Fast Downloads files collected here is 5%. Please read on for more details.

You will typically see Fast Downloads when running the file. The publisher name is then displayed as the "Verified publisher" in the UAC dialog as the screenshot shows:

You can view additional details from the Fast Downloads certificate with the following procedure:

  1. Open up Windows Explorer and locate the Fast Downloads file
  2. Right-click the file and select Properties
  3. Click on the Digital Signatures tab
  4. Click the View Certificate button

You can also examine the address for Fast Downloads, such as the street name, city and country.
