Fotofabriek Publisher Overview

Did you just download a file that is digitally signed by Fotofabriek and wonder if the file is safe? If so, please read on.

You'll typically see Fotofabriek when running the file. The publisher name is displayed as the "Verified publisher" in the UAC dialog as the screenshot shows:

You can view the digital signature details for Fotofabriek with the following procedure:

  1. Open up Windows Explorer and locate the Fotofabriek file
  2. Right-click on the file and select Properties
  3. Click on the Digital Signatures tab
  4. Click on the View Certificate button

Here's a screencap of a file digitally signed by Fotofabriek:

As you can see in the screengrab above, the Windows OS reports that "This digital signature is OK". This means that the file has been published by Fotofabriek and that no one has tampered with the file.

If you click the View Certificate button shown in the screenshot above, you can see all the details of the certificate, such as when it was issued, who issued the certificate, how long it is valid, etc. You can also examine the address for Fotofabriek, such as the street name, city and country.

COMODO RSA Code Signing CA has issued the Fotofabriek certificates. You can also examine the details of the issuer by clicking the View Certificate button shown in the screenshot above.

Fotofabriek Files

These are the Fotofabriek files I've collected, thanks to the FreeFixer users.Unfortunately I don't have any scan result from VirusTotal available for the Fotofabriek files at the moment. The scan results will appear here as soon as a FreeFixer user uploads a file digitally signed by Fotofabriek.
