Did you just stumble upon a download or a file on your computer that is digitally signed by Identity Protection Services? If so, please read on.
You will probably see Identity Protection Services when running the file. The publisher name shows up as the "Verified publisher" in the UAC dialog as the screenshot shows:

You can view the digital signature details for Identity Protection Services with the following procedure:

As you can see in the screenshot above, Windows reports that "This digital signature is OK". This means that the file has been published by Identity Protection Services and that no one has tampered with the file.
If you click the View Certificate button shown in the screenshot above, you can see all the details of the certificate, such as when it was issued, who issued the certificate, how long it is valid, etc. You can also examine the address for Identity Protection Services, such as the street name, city and country.
COMODO RSA Code Signing CA has issued the Identity Protection Services certificates. You can also view the details of the issuer by clicking the View Certificate button shown in the screenshot above.
These are the Identity Protection Services files I've collected, thanks to the FreeFixer users.Unfortunately I don't have any scan result from VirusTotal available for the Identity Protection Services files at the moment.
