Did you just find a download or a file on your computer that is digitally signed by Internet Program? Some of the security products refers to the detected files as Generic.69A and Yontoo (fs). The detection rate for the Internet Program files collected here is 18%. Please read on for more details.
You will typically see Internet Program when double-clicking to run the file. The publisher name shows up as the "Verified publisher" in the UAC dialog as the screengrab shows:
You can also view the Internet Program certificate with the following steps:
Here's a screenshot of a file signed by Internet Program:
As you can see in the screengrab above, the Windows OS reports that "This digital signature is OK". This implies that the file has been published by Internet Program and that the file has not been tampered with.
If you click the View Certificate button shown in the screenshot above, you can view all the details of the certificate, such as when it was issued, who issued the certificate, how long it is valid, etc. You can also examine the address for Internet Program, such as the street name, city and country.
VeriSign Class 3 Code Signing 2010 CA has issued the Internet Program certificates. You can also see the details of the issuer by clicking the View Certificate button shown in the screengrab above.
These are the Internet Program files I have collected, thanks to the FreeFixer users.
