Just Accept - 20% Detection Rate *

Did you just find a download or a file on your computer that has a digital signature from Just Accept? Some of the security products refers to the detected files as OutBrowse Revenyou and Win-PUP/OutBrowse. The detection rate for the Just Accept files collected here is 20%. Please read on for more details.

You'll typically see Just Accept when double-clicking to run the file. The publisher name shows up as the "Verified publisher" in the UAC dialog as the screenshot shows:

You can view additional details from the Just Accept certificate with the following steps:

  1. Open Windows Explorer and locate the Just Accept file
  2. Right-click the file and select Properties
  3. Click the Digital Signatures tab
  4. Click on the View Certificate button

As you can see in the screenshot above, the Windows OS reports that "This digital signature is OK". This implies that the file has been published by Just Accept and that no one has tampered with the file.

If you click the View Certificate button shown in the screenshot above, you can view all the details of the certificate, such as when it was issued, who issued the certificate, how long it is valid, and so on. You can also examine the address for Just Accept, such as the street name, city and country.

GlobalSign CodeSigning CA - G2 and thawte SHA256 Code Signing CA has issued the Just Accept certificates. You can also examine the details of the issuer by clicking the View Certificate button shown in the screenshot above.
