Max Setup - 9% Detection Rate *

Did you just stumble upon a download or a file on your computer that has a digital signature from Max Setup? Some of the security products refers to the detected files as Install Core Click run software and Artemis!02D9487C9295. The detection rate for the Max Setup files collected here is 9%. You will probably see Max Setup when running the file. The publisher name is displayed as the "Verified publisher" in the UAC dialog as the screenshot shows:

You can also view the Max Setup certificate with the following procedure:

  1. Open Windows Explorer and locate the Max Setup file
  2. Right-click on the file and select Properties
  3. Click on the Digital Signatures tab
  4. Click on the View Certificate button

As you can see in the screenshot above, Windows reports that "This digital signature is OK". This implies that the file has been published by Max Setup and that no one has tampered with the file.

If you click the View Certificate button shown in the screenshot above, you can see all the details of the certificate, such as when it was issued, who issued the certificate, how long it is valid, and so on. You can also examine the address for Max Setup, such as the street name, city and country.

COMODO Code Signing CA 2 has issued the Max Setup certificates. You can also view the details of the issuer by clicking the View Certificate button shown in the screenshot above.
