OptiSoft LLC Publisher Overview

Did you just download a file that is digitally signed by OptiSoft LLC and wonder if the file is safe? If so, please read on.

You'll probably notice OptiSoft LLC when double-clicking to run the file. The publisher name is then displayed as the "Verified publisher" in the UAC dialog as the screengrab shows:

You can view the additional details from the OptiSoft LLC digital signature with the following procedure:

  1. Open Windows Explorer and locate the OptiSoft LLC file
  2. Right-click the file and select Properties
  3. Click the Digital Signatures tab
  4. Click the View Certificate button

Here is a screenshot of a file signed by OptiSoft LLC:

As you can see in the screenshot above, Windows reports that "This digital signature is OK". This implies that the file has been published by OptiSoft LLC and that no one has tampered with the file.

If you click the View Certificate button shown in the screenshot above, you can see all the details of the certificate, such as when it was issued, who issued the certificate, how long it is valid, etc. You can also examine the address for OptiSoft LLC, such as the street name, city and country.

Go Daddy Secure Certificate Authority - G2 has issued the OptiSoft LLC certificates. You can also view the details of the issuer by clicking the View Certificate button shown in the screenshot above.

The following are the OptiSoft LLC files I've gathered, thanks to the FreeFixer users.Unfortunately I don't have any scan result from VirusTotal available for the OptiSoft LLC files at the moment.
