PathMaxx - 48% Detection Rate *
Did you just run into a download or a file on your computer that has a digital signature from PathMaxx? Some of the security products refers to the detected files as Adware.SwiftBrowse.CH and Adware.BrowseFox.V. The detection rate for the PathMaxx files collected here is 48%. You'll typically notice PathMaxx when double-clicking to run the file. The publisher name is displayed as the "Verified publisher" in the UAC dialog as the screenshot shows:
You can view the digital signature details for PathMaxx with the following procedure:
- Open Windows Explorer and locate the PathMaxx file
- Right-click on the file and select Properties
- Click on the Digital Signatures tab
- Click the View Certificate button
