Did you just stumble upon a file that has been digitally signed by Proton AG? If that's the case, please read on.
You will typically see Proton AG when double-clicking to run the file. The publisher name is displayed as the "Verified publisher" in the UAC dialog as the screenshot shows:

As you can see in the screencap above, Windows states that "This digital signature is OK". This implies that the file has been published by Proton AG and that the file has not been tampered with.
