Securencrypt LLC Publisher Overview

Did you just download a file that is digitally signed by Securencrypt LLC and wonder if the file is safe? If so, please read on.

You will probably see Securencrypt LLC when double-clicking to run the file. The publisher name is then displayed as the "Verified publisher" in the UAC dialog as the screenshot shows:

You can also view the Securencrypt LLC certificate with the following steps:

1. Open up Windows Explorer and locate the Securencrypt LLC file
2. Right-click the file and select Properties
3. Click on the Digital Signatures tab
4. Click the View Certificate button

As you can see in the screenshot above, Windows reports that "This digital signature is OK". This means that the file has been published by Securencrypt LLC and that no one has tampered with the file.

If you click the View Certificate button shown in the screencap above, you can see all the details of the certificate, such as when it was issued, who issued the certificate, how long it is valid, and so on. You can also see the address for Securencrypt LLC, such as the street name, city and country.

Thawte Code Signing CA - G2 has issued the Securencrypt LLC certificates. You can also examine the details of the issuer by clicking the View Certificate button shown in the screengrab above.
