Did you just find a download or a file on your computer that is digitally signed by Treat Receipt? Some of the security products refers to the detected files as Gen:Adware.BrowseFox.1 and Unwanted-Program ( 004cd5671 ). The detection rate for the Treat Receipt files collected here is 48%. You'll typically see Treat Receipt when clicking to run the file. The publisher name is displayed as the "Verified publisher" in the UAC dialog as the screenshot shows:

As you can see in the screencap above, Windows states that "This digital signature is OK". This means that the file has been published by Treat Receipt and that no one has tampered with the file.

You can also examine the address for Treat Receipt, such as the street name, city and country.
