ZONER software, a.s. - 0% Detection Rate *

Did you just download a file that has a digital signature from ZONER software, a.s. and wonder if the file is safe? If that's the case, please read on.

You'll probably notice ZONER software, a.s. when double-clicking to run the file. The publisher name shows up as the "Verified publisher" in the UAC dialog as the screencap shows:

You can view the additional details from the ZONER software, a.s. digital signature with the following procedure:

  1. Open Windows Explorer and locate the ZONER software, a.s. file
  2. Right-click on the file and select Properties
  3. Click the Digital Signatures tab
  4. Click the View Certificate button

As you can see in the screenshot above, the Windows OS reports that "This digital signature is OK". This implies that the file has been published by ZONER software, a.s. and that the file has not been tampered with.

If you click the View Certificate button shown in the screencap above, you can view all the details of the certificate, such as when it was issued, who issued the certificate, how long it is valid, etc. You can also see the address for ZONER software, a.s., such as the street name, city and country.

Thawte Code Signing CA, Thawte Code Signing CA - G2 and Symantec Class 3 Extended Validation Code Signing CA - G2 has issued the ZONER software, a.s. certificates. You can also see the details of the issuer by clicking the View Certificate button shown in the screenshot above.
