I recently started having error messages pop up every time I start my laptop, they are:
ie3sh.exe - Unable To Locate Component
This application has failed to start because BHO.DLL was not found. FRe-installing this application may fix this problem.
I close this and then I get this error:
IE3SH Application has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
I started getting these after installing a cartoon program from facebook.
I looked online and it was suggested I uninstall safeguard plus. I did and I still get the errors. Any help would be much appreciated.

Make The Web Better, which is the company listed in ie3sh.exe's digital signature have a number of products called "My Web Tattoo", "Fast Browser Search", "Tattoodle", "Tattoodle Skins", "Search Guard Plus", "My Face LOL" and "Tattoons".

I installed "My Web Tattoo" on my lab computer to see if IE3SH appeared. "My Web Tattoo" added a toolbar in Internet Explorer and changed its start page. A new extension was added to Firefox. Both browsers started to redirect to fastbrowsersearch.com when searching in the address bar. A number of new files appeared on my system, such as BHO.dll, FBStoolbar.dll, sgpUpdaters.exe and SearchGuardPlus.exe, but no IE3SH.EXE. Some of these were detected when running them through the virus scanners over at VirusTotal.com.

After installing, the "My Web Tattoo" home page allowed me to choose if I want to use the tattoos on Facebook or Myspace.

These new items appeared in the Add/Remove programs dialog: Fast Browser Search (My Web Tattoo), Search Guard Plus (My Web Tattoo) and Search Guard Plus Updater (My Web Tattoo).

If you want to remove ie3sh.exe (and get rid of the ie3sh.exe error messages) you should be able to uninstall it from the Add/Remove programs dialog. Look for Search Guard Plus and Search Guard Plus. If that does not work, you can contact the Make The Web Better company at info@make-the-web-better.com.

You can probably remove ie3sh.exe and its error messages with manual removers such as FreeFixer or Hijackthis. Only use them if you know what you are doing.

Hope this helped.

Roger Karlsson was spot on. I was getting an IE script error every time I opened IE. Then I got the BHO.DLL error after PCCillin detected spyware and removed it and the system rebooted. I uninstalled the Tatoon apps and everything is great now.

Qualcuno + esperto di me mi Aiuti! X FAVORE! Ciao ciao

The stupid question above should be changed into something that deserves a reasonably intelligent answer.
This whole tattoo thing is nothing but a pain in the a** makes the PC get hooked to something that's reported as a TROYAN by Avast and Norton scanners, it has to be "quaranteeened" and better removed from "Programs and ..." becoming an ANNOYING ERROR REPORT every time the PC gets started. There is nothing to do to get rid from this Error report. Roger Karlsson should be sued for launching this TROYAN BUG that causes PC's malfunction... ALWAYS.

Roger Karlsson is absolutely right! Thank you!

If you have been on "Facebook" and or have one of these installed on your computer "My Web Tattoo", "Fast Browser Search", "Tattoodle", "Tattoodle Skins", "Search Guard Plus", "My Face LOL" and "Tattoons". JUST UNINSTALL IT!

It fixed my problem.
