I've used erunt that has a autobackup fuction for saving the registry files at the 1st boot of the day for over 15 years. It has no harmful things in ot or it's functions. the ntregopt (NT Registry Optimizer) also is very good & harmless. Developer's website is: http://larshederer.homepage.t-online.de/erunt/
