The file is digitally signed by "KROMTECH ALLIANCE CORP". A few years ago Kromtech offered a programs called PCKeeper. Perhaps the accountservice.exe was installed along with the PCKeeper software?

What do you think? Did you once have PCKeeper installed on your machine?

Below is a link to Kromtech's web site. Currently they are not developing any program for the Windows Platform. PCKeeper was sold to another company.
