I want everone to know DO NOT EVER download a program called ADSFIX from this site: https://toolslib.net/downloads/viewdownload/20-adsfix/ because it contains a TROJAN VIRUS. My virus software flagged it while trying to download it. To confirm that it was infected I ran two other virus scans online, one from metadefender and one from virus total. This was the result from virus total: Antivirus Result Update
Antiy-AVL Trojan/Generic.ASVCS3S.1E5 20170426 Bkav W32.HfsAtITA.9B58 20170426 Endgame malicious (high confidence). 20170419 TrendMicro-HouseCalll Suspici.AF8C44A8 20170426Webroot. W32.Malware.Gen. 20170426
This was the result from metadefender: Doesn't that take the cake.............a site that offers anti-virus software downloads.........has a program CONTAINING a virus.

Thank you for sharing!

I've uploaded a more recent version of AdsFix.exe to VirusTotal. 4 of the anti-virus programs detected the file:

https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/62a2fae666d593b7fdb632b0f0131aa6ae5a05073d774322e20c7a4ab61af2b4/analysis/1495619898/

Perhaps it's a false positive.

hello it's a false positive , almost all disinfection tools are detected like this by antiviruses , reason for what we ask to stop their detection using them

you'd like to delete the comment above :)
the viruses never stay more than a year in download and do you really believe that tooslib, sosvirus, and other sites who have the tool in a download page could let it on the internet ? lol !
