I have Macavee Anti Virus . Today for the first time it came up with detecting a problem on a file to do with IOBIT UNINSTALLER which it said it could not fix. As I have had IOBIT UNINSTALLER Programme installed for 3 years or more without detecting any problems I guess this problem may have arisen with a recent IOBIT update . It may be a false positive indication of malware , there again it could be actual malware. I will try your programme Free Fixer and see if it will remove the offending file

The BigUpgrade_IU.exe file is digitally signed by IOBit, so i guess it should be safe. Perhaps a false positive.

Does McAfee give a detection name for BigUpgrade_IU.exe?
