You always give incomplete info- what does Boomerang actually do and does it come pre-installed with Windows 10 or has it been added later. I have hacker problems and need to know if this should be on my PC or not.

@Mask: Boomerang.exe comes with software from CyberLink, such as as the PowerDVD player. Since boomerang.exe is digitally signed by CyberLink it should be free from malware.

Does Boomerang.exe comes preinstalled on some machines? I think so. Long time ago I bought a laptop that had PowerDVD preinstalled. Is it preinstalled on all Windows 10 machines? Nope.

If you are worried about your copy of Boomerang.exe, please upload it to VirusTotal for a scan. Did the scanners detect anything?
