I have an ASUS EeePc which is quite old but still in wondeful condition and I can't afford to buy e new machine. So I am trying to get rid of all software that doesn't add value to what I am doing.

I use PPT, Excel, Word, PDF and the internet extensively but I don't need links with other machines.

When I read your site, I believe I can safely delete this app as it uses a lot of memory and my machine has neither memory nor speed.

Can anybody confirm my belief?

@Phil: Unfortunately I could not find much information about CCFManager.exe. What I do know is that it's from Intel, so it should be harmless.

I found this description about "Common Connectivity Framework":

"The IntelĀ® Common Connectivity Framework SDK was created for App developers to more easily connect multiple devices peer-to-peer, across operating systems. The SDK provides discovery of peers, connection and security. It also manages that socket with reconnection, failover and promotion to a faster transport when available."

Bottom line, I don't if the file can be removed. Personally, I would keep it.
