Hello,

Thanks for this excellent initiative.
It is precious to have a description and the owner of a program. It would also be great to know what it is doing or its objective so as to help to decide what to do with. As I do not use dropbox, I decided to block it definitively.

Did you previously use DropBox on your machine?

Looks like Dropbox has abandoned XP. DbxSvc.exe now creates an error in the system event log viewer. I was looking for info on DbxSvc.exe and came to this site.

Lots of DropBox users, including me, are getting the following "Event Log" with no help from program support:
Log Type: Application
Event Type: Error
Source: DbxSvc
Category: 3
Event ID: 320
Failed to connect to the driver: (-2147024894) The system cannot find the file specified.

Can occure at anytime the PC is running with or without DropBox loaded.

We need help!

@Russell: Unfortunately many developers are dropping the XP support.

FreeFixer still supports Windows XP and Windows 2000, and I will continue to support them. I think there's a lot of people still using Windows XP.
