I have a new Notebook, running Win 10, and it very quickly started running out of space. One of the things I am doing is going through the "huge" files and deleting. A long tedious process, specially since I have to look almost everything up to see what it is and what it does. I have a BIN file and had to download something to get it to open, so I installed Daemon Tools Lite. Every time I try too open it I get an Initialization Error, Disk Soft Bus Service is not running. I don't know what this file does, but am happy to hear that it was thoroughly checked and doesn't appear to have the Cooties I don't want!
I can't find instructions anywhere as to how to get this running. Do anyone know the deep, dark secret?

@Jane: Thank you for sharing. I've searched around for a solution for the "Initialization Error, Disk Soft Bus Service is not running", but without success. Someone suggested to uninstall DaemonTools and install it again. However, for that user, it did not solve the problem.

From your description of the problem, it appears that DaemonTools depends on a service called "Disk Soft Bus Service", and for unknown reasons that service is not running.

To verify the state of a service, you can check out the all services by typing "view local services" in the search field close to the Start button on your Windows 10 machine.

Hope that helps you sort out the problem.
