Lots of info on many sites about the file names of Driver Notifier- but none at all and what the darn thing DOES! Even sites providing download of it don't have that info. Without knowing what it does no-one can make an informed decision about whether to delete it or disable it. I use CCleaner and will see if my PC suddenly explodes or whatever when I disable it in both its forms.

The eque question is very funny. More seriously here is my comment.
DriverPackNotifier is a free software provided by “software.informer” at software.informer.com - It has been identified as a vius and/or malware. Software.informer uses slick promotional methods and I was misled into installing it. Use at your own risk

You state "None of the 55 anti-virus programs at VirusTotal detected the DriverPackNotifier.exe file". I have found contrary information on the Internet. Perhaps you should look a little more at the issue.
