I do have a lot of software that seems legit that has the names Wow6432Node on them. It's for all different softwares/drivers. Where is the WOW thing coming from?

@Elva: WOW is Microsoft lingo for "Windows on Windows". It's a compatibility layer used to run "older" software on a newer platform.

These days, WOW is often used to run 32-bit applications on a 64-bit version of the Windows OS.
