Hello. My problem is that I eliminate mi "Start Menu", the icon that is a house where you can see your app/applications, etc. So I lost it in my computer. I can't find it and I search on the computer for the file, I find a HostAppService by Pokki file. I can't use, I mean it says '.exe' but, I don't know what to do!!! I need my start menu icon back!!!

Hi Stephanie, I am quite sure that you already found a fix for your problem, so in case anybody else suffers the same and stumbles by this page so here is what to do.

In win8 go to right upper corner of display, wait 'til the sidebar pops out, click on the search icon and enter into the search field " Start Menu " then start menu program should appear below the search field which can be left-clicked and there you are.
Now having recoverd the Start Menu there is still one thing to be done. Right-click on the start menu button (the little house) select " pin this program to taskbar " so you won't need to open it by search again.

Hope it was useful to anybody.
